To protect your account from hacks especially for those who are playing on net cafe' and/or NetShop.

There is this gadget which technology has brought looking forward for a good performance on computers but there are some who misuse it that lead to our account/s hacked especially when we go on an internet cafe'..And it was quite awkward when we found it too late already for our personal belongings was already gone.So here is a quite information on how hackers hacks..

First,is its name and function

Keystroke logging (more often called keylogging or "keyloggers") is the action of tracking (or logging) the keys struck on a keyboard, typically in a covert manner so that the person using the keyboard is unaware that their actions are being monitored. There are numerous keylogging methods, ranging from hardware and software-based approaches to electromagnetic and acoustic analysis.

It's quite great.But some people are abusing it's function whereas lead them to be called hackers.For they can get your account info when you log-in with it.Here's the image for more details

Actually u are right on there.. For players playing in shops/cafe ,beware of those pc's that has keylogger .. When its on , it really records all keystrokes u made. The Picture u showed is the PS2 keylogger , it monitors all u do in a computer and automatically saves it..

So be careful ..

To ensure safety of ur accounts , Dont use untrusted computers on shops.. Its hard to know if a computer has a keylogger installed on it coz u wont see it in the taskbar.So just to make sure search and download some programs that disables keyloggers, just install and follow isntructions.. TY

wow i figured keyloggers would only be like a virus...not hardware...thx for the info guys#1 good thing i dont play in cafes Very Happy

Its one of the problem of players here in Philippines.. That's why so many hacked account in Philippines.. Coz even cafe/shop owners use PS2 keyloggers as backup for customers.. but some just overuse it..

I have one solution in mind:
Make a 2nd password on every account.. 1st password uses keyboard, 2nd uses only mouse .. so there would be a keyboard or could only be number pad in login..
Password can use 2-5 characters so that it would be easy to do but pretty effective against keylogger..

Yes..perhaps.. a second password would do as a solution admin. Just like when you are logging in on your laptop which you can enable the mouse only to click.. And for those who played in cafe's.. Beware enough much more when the shop you entered is new to you.
